In eight years, RCA Capital Region has helped more than 8,000 patients — a milestone that reflects the facility’s role as a cornerstone of addiction treatment in the region. CEO Lamar Frizzell used the occasion to look ahead, announcing plans to open RCA’s first outpatient services in Virginia and new sober living facilities for patients in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
The celebration was grounded by the voices that matter most — patients. Roland Wright, an alumnus who first sought treatment in 2024, described an organization that came to him when he was ready, picked him up, and walked him through what recovery actually requires. His message was simple: if you’re willing, this is where you want to come.
