Proof Publicity is a boutique public relations agency in Scottsdale, Arizona, founded in October 2024 by Melissa DiGianfilippo. The team is made up of 10 public relations and social media practitioners who have run local and national campaigns across healthcare, real estate and development, hospitality, financial services and professional services. Your day-to-day PR manager has ten or more years of experience, and the founder is in the work, not just on the pitch.
Proof Publicity was built around one idea: a client should never have to guess whether public relations is working. Every engagement starts with a written strategy tied to business goals, and every month we report what ran, where it ran and what it reached. We share the data so a client can see exactly what PR generates for their business. When a campaign underperforms we are the first to bring it to the client’s attention along with a plan of action.

Melissa DiGianfilippo is the founder and CEO of Proof Publicity, a public relations agency in Scottsdale, Arizona. She earned a scholarship to Kent State University for magazine journalism, switched to public relations in school and has spent her entire career in it. She started her first company in 2008 and for more than 15 years co-ran Serendipit Consulting, growing it to 40 employees and clients across the country, then launched Proof Publicity in 2024. She was named a 40 Under 40 honoree by the Phoenix Business Journal in 2021 and a Most Admired Leader by the Phoenix Business Journal in 2018, and her agency was named Agency of the Year by the PRSA Phoenix chapter in 2019. She hosts Off Deadline, an interview series with Arizona journalists.
