ONNJ Featured Recovery Centers of America at Lighthouse’s Becky Baillie on 10 Years of Addiction Treatment in South Jersey

ONNJ featured Becky Baillie, CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Lighthouse, in a segment marking the facility’s 10th anniversary — celebrating a decade of addiction treatment in South Jersey and the growth that has made Lighthouse one of RCA’s most impactful locations.

Baillie spoke to what addiction treatment in South Jersey has looked like over ten years. When Lighthouse opened in Mays Landing in 2016 as RCA’s first facility, it had a capacity of 53 beds. Today it operates at 133 — a reflection of both the growing need for care and the community’s trust in the treatment the facility provides. Her primary goal remains unchanged: remove every barrier that stands between someone in need and the help that’s available to them. That means accepting patients with pets, offering work flex programs for those with job obligations, and welcoming medically complex patients as an RN-led team.

Baillie also used the platform to address something she’s seeing more of on the ground: kratom. As bans take effect across the country, she wants South Jersey residents to know that kratom dependence is a real and treatable condition — and that RCA Lighthouse is equipped to help with detox and recovery for those struggling with it.

For Recovery Centers of America, the ONNJ placement puts the Lighthouse team’s decade of community-rooted work in front of a South Jersey audience that needs to know help is available, accessible, and just a phone call away at 1-800-RECOVERY.
