Proof Publicity is thrilled to share that our client, Stop Our Stigma, was named “Nonprofit of the Month” by Fabulous Arizona. This recognition highlights the organization’s mission to prevent suicide among first responders—whose suicide risk is significantly higher than the general population—through education, advocacy, and community outreach.
Founded by former first responder Jim Hayden, Stop Our Stigma was created from personal loss and a commitment to break the stigma surrounding mental health in the frontline community. The nonprofit also equips families with tools to recognize emotional distress and act proactively, further strengthening its impact.
Looking ahead to the rest of 2025, Stop Our Stigma is ramping up outreach with two key events: a mental health seminar on September 18 and a fall gala on September 27, hosted in partnership with LIFE (Living in Fulfilled Enlightenment).
